Enter a minimum that includes the application, operating system and your chosen headroom. Compare GB and GiB consistently; their numeric values are not interchangeable.
Enter your resource requirements to compare the four SilentVPS catalogue plans. Convert a monthly transfer allowance into an average data rate, and understand what the result can and cannot tell you.
The VPS sizing tool compares your entered vCPU, RAM, storage and transfer requirements with the four configured SilentVPS plans. Its bandwidth converter calculates an average rate from a decimal transfer allowance and duration; neither result measures performance or live availability.
Enter minimums including your own headroom. Results compare catalogue specifications, not measured capacity or live stock.
Enter finite positive resource values within the displayed ranges. Transfer may be zero.
Lowest monthly catalogue price among the matching plans: Veil.

This comparison does not reserve a server or confirm provisioning, location or performance.
Read current catalogue factsDecimal TB, Mbit/s and evenly distributed usage. This is arithmetic, not a speed test. Traffic accounting and overhead are outside the calculation.
Use an allowance from 0 to 1000 TB and a duration from 1 to 366 whole days.
2 TB over 30 days averages 6.173 Mbit/s.
A useful VPS estimate starts with the application you intend to run, its working set and its busiest periods. Measure memory and disk use on an existing installation where possible. Include the operating system, database, background jobs, container overhead, uploads and local backup space in your requirements.
The tool compares your entered minimums with published catalogue resources. It does not predict visitor counts, requests per second, CPU generation, storage latency or live server availability. Add headroom yourself rather than treating the smallest matching plan as a performance guarantee.
An application using little memory while idle may behave differently during imports, upgrades, indexing or concurrent requests. Watch a representative busy period. File-system space must also cover logs, updates and temporary restore files, not just the current size of your application.
If you already use Docker, its statistics command provides container memory, CPU and network counters. Container counters do not replace host-level measurements, and Linux cache accounting differs between Docker CLI output and its API. Record the units shown by each tool before comparing them.

df -hA monthly transfer allowance measures an amount of data. A port rate measures how quickly data may move at a point in time. A large port rate does not mean unlimited monthly transfer, and an average rate calculated from a quota does not describe the speed available during a short download.
The conversion below uses decimal units: one TB is one trillion bytes and one Mbit/s is one million bits per second. It spreads the allowance evenly over the selected number of days. Protocol overhead, peaks, provider counting rules and the direction of chargeable traffic are outside this calculation. Confirm those terms with the operator.
Enter a minimum that includes the application, operating system and your chosen headroom. Compare GB and GiB consistently; their numeric values are not interchangeable.
Enter the number of virtual CPUs required by your workload. A vCPU count alone does not specify a physical core, dedicated CPU time or a benchmark result.
Allow for application data, updates and a temporary restore. Keep an independent backup outside the same virtual machine.
Include normal use and infrequent large transfers such as migrations or backups. Verify whether incoming traffic, outgoing traffic or both count toward the allowance.
If no plan meets all of your numbers, reduce a requirement only when your measurements justify it. Otherwise ask about a different configuration. Choosing a matching row does not reserve a server or confirm a region, network policy or provisioning time.
Once the resources fit, compare the monthly and annual commitment separately. The billing calculator uses the configured prices and makes the upfront annual total explicit.
